A Kids' Beach Day Program in Del Mar: What to Expect
Wondering what a full day on the sand looks like for a 6–12 year old? Here's the honest rundown of a P's & Q's Day at Del Mar Beach.
The shape of the day
Six hours, built on four pillars with a championship lunch in the middle: a formation warm-up and circuit (Discipline), solo challenges (Confidence), a no-quit relay and circuit (Mental Toughness), a captain challenge and beach cleanup (Leadership), then a Championship Challenge where everyone finishes together.
The rank check
The day ends with a rank check, where kids earn their next band — and the prize that comes with it. White band kids get a booster pack; the path runs all the way to a black headband and the Champions Trip.
What to bring
- Workout clothes that can get sandy
- A labeled water bottle
- Sunscreen on before arrival
- A willingness to try
Lunch and all training gear are included. The coach-to-kid ratio is 1:8.
